Managing Partner of Bridges Israel
Gal led the establishment of Bridges Israel in 2018 together with Sandrin Montesma and Ran Grodtsky.
Before Bridges, he served as CEO of Portland Trust Israel, which is focused on creating a social and economic impact in the socio-economic periphery of Israel and Palestine.
Before that, he served as a partner in the Apax Fund, and focused on technological investments in the Israeli high-tech arena, led investments and served on the board of about 15 companies.
With the sale of the Apax investment portfolio, Gal joined Azini Capital, and represented the fund in Israel for three years.
Gal has held several positions in the Israeli high-tech industry, including as a R&D project manager at Orbotech Ltd. and as an algorithm developer at the IBM Scientific Center. In addition, he held several management positions at Eli Lilly, both in Israel and in Indianapolis, USA.
He holds a BA degree in computer engineering from the Technion and an MA in business administration from the INSEAD business school in Fontainebleau, France.
Gal believes that providing rehabilitation and employment opportunities to weaker populations in our communities is of great importance, and a significant indication of our strength as a society.
Comeback provides him with the opportunity to do so.
